We are seeking a Cyber AI Lead to spearhead the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and automation across our cybersecurity and DevSecOps programs. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with strategic leadership to enhance existing contract delivery, advance automation initiatives, and build our internal AI practice. The ideal candidate will design and implement AI-driven solutions that improve operational efficiency and cybersecurity posture, while also supporting AI solutioning efforts for new opportunities, including RFP/RFI responses, whitepapers, and technical proposals. This position bridges innovation, delivery, and business growth, making it ideal for a professional passionate about leveraging AI to deliver practical, scalable, and mission-focused solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and integration of AI and automation solutions to improve efficiency and performance across existing cybersecurity and DevSecOps contracts.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process automation, predictive analytics, and anomaly detection using ML and AI models.
- Support the deployment and maintenance of AI models and pipelines in secure, mission-critical environments.
- Build and mature the organization s AI capability and knowledge base, including standards, reusable tools, and best practices.
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and methodologies to recommend adoption paths aligned with client and program needs.
- Serve as a thought leader in AI/ML integration within cybersecurity, Zero Trust, and automation domains.
- Partner with capture and proposal teams to develop AI-driven technical solutions for RFPs/RFIs.
- Contribute to technical writing, whitepapers, and customer briefings related to AI, automation, and data analytics.
- Translate customer needs and mission challenges into innovative, implementable AI/ML solutions.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including engineers, cybersecurity analysts, and architects to design and deliver AI-enhanced capabilities.
- Mentor team members in AI/ML techniques, tools, and responsible AI principles.
- Engage with customers and stakeholders to define AI strategies and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in data engineering, solution architecture, or software engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in AI/ML system development, deployment, or MLOps.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, Generative AI, and automation frameworks.
- Strong background in Python, Java, or C++, and familiarity with AI/ML libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, LangChain, etc.).
- Experience with MLOps, DevSecOps, or CI/CD environments.
- Proven ability to perform technical writing for RFPs, RFIs, or solution proposals.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
