Our client in the banking industry is seeking a Marketing Specialist to join their team on a contract basis through year-end. The ideal candidate will bring strong design and editing skills, with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Canva. In addition, the role requires solid project management abilities and proven expertise in content creation and social media management across multiple platforms.
This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $28.00 $36.00, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design & Creative Development: Create visually compelling marketing materials including digital graphics, print collateral, and branded assets.
- Video Editing (Preferred): Utilize video editing software to produce engaging video content for social media and marketing campaigns.
- Vendor & Agency Management: Coordinate and manage relationships with external vendors, freelancers, and creative agencies to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.
- Project & Campaign Management: Plan, organize, and track marketing campaigns and projects from concept through completion, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
- Content Creation & Social Media: Write and design engaging content tailored for platforms including YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. Manage posting schedules and community engagement.
- Software Proficiency: Use design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Canva to develop professional marketing assets.
- Marketing Administration: Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, preparing reports, maintaining marketing documentation, and supporting cross-functional teams.
- Technology Adoption: Stay current with and adapt to emerging marketing tools, software, and digital trends.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor s degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3 5 years of experience in marketing, creative design, or related roles.
- Strong portfolio showcasing design skills and content creation.
- Experience with video editing software (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent) a plus.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with internal teams and external partners.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Canva.
- Proficiency with basic HTML, Wordpress, Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, preferred.
- Familiarity with major social media platforms and digital marketing best practices.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- May be tasked with lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling up to 25 lbs., if able to do so.
- Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time and walk/stand for moderate periods of time.
- Must be able to bend at the knees and waist frequently
- Must be able to repetitively use a telephone and a computer mouse and keyboard.
