Description

Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Control-M Batch Scheduling Specialist to join our technology operations team. This role is critical in supporting and enhancing our enterprise scheduling environment, ensuring timely and accurate execution of batch processes, file transfers, and legacy system conversions. Key Responsibilities: Develop, configure, and maintain batch jobs using Control-M. Modify job schedules and execution times based on business requirements. Monitor and troubleshoot job failures, ensuring timely resolution and minimal business disruption. Manage and automate file transfers across internal and external systems. Transition legacy systems to modern file transfer solutions using Control-M. Lead efforts to convert legacy scheduling and file transfer systems to Control-M. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and minimal impact on operations. Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, validation, and reporting. Work with relational databases to support batch processing and data movement. Maintain accurate documentation of job flows, schedules, and operational procedures. Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Required Qualifications: Proven experience with Control-M job scheduling and management. Strong understanding of batch processing, job dependencies, and scheduling best practices. Understanding of Data and Data Sets Experience with file transfer protocols and automation tools. Proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server). Experience in legacy system migration and integration projects. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in the financial services industry. Knowledge of ITIL practices and change management processes.

Position is located in Warrendale, PA. Hybrid, 3 days a week in office and 2 days remote. Wednesday is all in day. You choose the other two days you go in. Position is currently a contract role for 9 months Can be a contract with the right to hire based on performance 2 step interview process over MS Teams

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
