Trigyn's direct client in New York City has an immediate need for ServiceNow Developer (REMOTE). The details of the opportunity are below.
Description:
? Configure and develop ITSM, SPM & other modules in ServiceNow platform with minimal oversight.
? Create technical documentation describing solutions developed.
? Adhere to the defined best practices and standards across the development team.
? Collaborate with Business Analysts and others across IT to better understand the business need and propose options where possible.
? Ensure requirements are clearly documented with the correct attributes, product assignment, and tracked throughout their lifecycle.
? Provide input to the Project Manager to support effort estimation and support prioritization.
? Support the planning, preparation, and execution of ServiceNow releases.
? Support transition to production.
? Help evaluate new ServiceNow releases and determine the business value provided.
Skills:
? 5+ years of experience working in a waterfall and agile development.
? 5+ years of experience with ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, PPM, Service Portal, and Employee Portal modules.
? Experience with Vancouver release.
? Experience supporting the customization, administration, and configuration of the ServiceNow tool.
? Experience with documentation software (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, Jira, PowerPoint, Visio).
? Experience with HTML5, CSS, AngularJS, JavaScript, Web Services, PowerShell, Shell Script, Jelly, and Glide APIs.
? Configuration/customization experience on various ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, and Core ServiceNow platform capabilities.
? Experience with Automated testing Framework and Guided Tour Designer.
? Protocol: TCP/IP, Ethernet, FTP, SSH, T1, Firewalls.
? Experienced with databases from SQL to NoSQL databases tools.
? Experience with BACCM.
? Hands on experience building and using APIs in the ServiceNow platform.
? Experience with RDBMS tools, data modeling, and CSDM.
? Experience with CMDB, Discovery, Orchestration, Service Mapping tools in ServiceNow platform.
? Experience with Asset Management, Event Management, Scoped Applications, Performance Analytics.
? Prior experience with integrating ServiceNow to other applications and ability to adapt existing methods and procedures to create possible solutions to complex problems.
? Ability to plan resource requirements from high level specifications and the ability to convert them to technical specifications.
? Work with external non-full-time staff and manage their time accordingly and maintain good working relationship.
? Strong communications skills and the ability to explain complex concepts in plain language.
? Experience working in a large government agency
? Working knowledge of Discovery and Application Dependency mapping with tools such as Application Dependency Mapping (ADM), SolarWinds Server & Application Monitor, Dynatrace or Device42
? Working knowledge of ITIL Foundations concepts
? ITIL v3 Foundation Certification
One or more of the below certifications preferred:
? CSA, CAD, CIS ITSM, CIS ITOM, or CTA.
Daily Tasks:
? Configure and develop ITSM, SPM & other modules in ServiceNow platform
? Prepare technical documentation
? Implement unit tests and conduct functional and performance testing where appropriate.
? Participate in code reviews
