Position: ServiceNow ITOM Consultant
Location: Charlotte, NC (Remote)
Duration: FTE

Job Description:
Strong ServiceNow ITOM implementation experience with discovery, event management, service mapping, and configuration management (CMDB).
Design, Development and Implementation of ServiceNow customization including, but not limited to core setup, workflow administration, reporting, data imports, custom scripting, and third-party software integrations.
Perform advanced customizations including Business Rules, UI Pages, UI Macros, UI Scripts, Script Includes, Client Scripts, workflows, custom tables, reports etc.
Perform workflow design, configuration, development, and data loads for ServiceNow platform, (ServiceNow) applications.
Responsible for programming workflow, enhancements, and integrations with ServiceNow platform applications.
Should have good amount of knowledge on business flow following service now applications.
Hands-on experience integrating ServiceNow with external systems like AD, SCCM, Monitoring tools, Cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, B2B, etc.
Install, configure, and integrate software products from ServiceNow with a focus on the ITOM based products (discovery, service mapping, configuration management, event management)
Develop custom software solutions as required through scripting and software development.
Integration and ServiceNow Scripting (Glide, (JavaScript, Ajax, XML, JSON etc. HTML and CSS))
Advanced and current understanding of supported network monitoring connectors, such as SCOM, Netcool, SolarWinds and HPOM.
Expertise with scripting languages such as PERL, JavaScript, Python, or Shell
Web service proficiency (REST, SOAP) as well as XML and JSON knowledge
Knowledge of networking concepts such as IP Addressing, Firewalls, ports
Code and develop customized patterns, probes and sensors for Discovery and Service Mapping
Strong collaboration with stakeholders including internal customers, stakeholders and vendors to understand challenges and gain consensus on improved system and operational solutions
Proficiency of ServiceNow administration, JavaScript and common scripting languages such as PowerShell highly (Preferred)

Certifications:
Service Now System Administrator Certification - Must
Service Now Implementation Specialist Certification (ITOM -Discovery/Event Management/Service Mapping) Must
Service Now Implementation specialist Certification ( Application Portfolio management) Preferred.
