Managing Business Consultant SAP S/4HANA SAP Central Finance
Remote position with occasional travel during project milestones.

Overview

Client is seeking a Managing Business Consultant with extensive SAP S/4HANA Central Finance experience to lead and support a complex SAP ECC to S/4HANA transformation. This role involves functional and technical consulting, configuration, data migration, testing, training, and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead workshops to define AS-IS and TO-BE processes aligned with finance operations and overall business strategy.

  • Configure and customize SAP S/4HANA Central Finance functionalities, including universal journal, consolidation, and reporting.

  • Provide expert support during configuration, data migration, testing, training, and cutover.

  • Oversee integration of Central Finance with modules like Order to Cash, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain.

  • Manage data migration from SAP ECC and non-SAP systems using SLT and Selective Data/Bluefield Migration methods.

  • Collaborate with data teams for data extraction, transformation, and loading into SAP S/4HANA.

  • Conduct system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and regression testing.

  • Train end-users and support post-go-live activities.

  • Develop financial reports and dashboards using SAP embedded analytics.

  • Act as the key contact for business and IT stakeholders, providing updates and ensuring alignment with project goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field (Master s preferred).

  • Minimum 10 years of SAP consulting experience, including SAP S/4HANA Central Finance.

  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, ledger management, asset accounting, and core FI/CO processes.

  • Proficient in configuring and managing SAP SLT for accurate data transfer.

  • Strong analytical skills to assess business data, identify issues, and implement SAP best practice solutions.

  • Experience in S/4HANA transformation projects including configuration, migration, integration, and stakeholder management.
