Who we are
About Stripe

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies-from the world's largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups-use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone's reach while doing the most important work of your career.
About the team

Link helps Stripe's merchants deliver frictionless and secure checkout experiences by auto-filling customers' payment information. Link enables customers to checkout in just 6 seconds, increasing conversion rates for Stripe's merchants by over 7%. Link is available on the sites of hundreds of thousands of merchants-customers can save payment info on any Link-supported site, and pay in one click across the Link merchant network. Link is built into merchants' existing payments integrations on Stripe, with no additional charges or fees.
What you'll do

As the Product Manager for Link's Merchant Products, you are the champion and end-to-end owner of our merchants' experience. You will ensure merchants have a first-class integration and payments experience when using Link. This will include working with Engineering and GTM teams to remove feature gaps that block merchants' use of Link, ensuring our APIs and integration experiences are intuitive to merchants, and helping merchants optimize their use of Link as they scale. You will also execute new product strategies that reinforce and expand Link's value to merchants. This will include working directly with Link's leadership on refining Link's merchant product strategy, recommending new features to test based on your deep understanding of merchants' needs, and working directly with Engineering and GTM teams to launch and scale these new features with merchants.
Responsibilities
  • Deeply understand user needs by spending time with merchants as well as Engineering, GTM and Operations teams, and by observing patterns and trends across their feedback and the market.
  • Be the voice of the merchant both within Link and more broadly at Stripe.
  • Work closely with our customers, product teams, and cross functional partners to build a comprehensive and frictionless experience for Link merchants.
  • Help set an ambitious roadmap for product development and expansion of Link's capabilities.
  • Discover new parts of our business and lead them from nascent stages to maturity.
  • Set the pace, prioritization and execution for the team.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization such as Engineering, Design, Data Science, Marketing, Sales, Account Management, and Operations.
Who you are

We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.
Minimum requirements
  • Brings 8+ years of experience in a product role (ideally working on a mix of consumer facing and enterprise facing products).
  • Has experience working with external facing enterprise customers, including communicating a roadmap on sales calls, working closely with internal sales teams to close deals, and managing GTM prioritization.
  • Brings a desire for continuous product improvement and can optimize for shipping a portfolio of small, medium, and large releases.
  • Has managed high-stakes external partnerships, e.g. agreeing on milestones and executing on an integration into your product.
  • Has strong written and verbal communication skills with a talent for precise articulations of customer problems.
  • Takes an ownership mindset and works on whatever it takes to solve problems and delight merchants.
  • Can put themselves in the shoes of merchants and be a steward of crafting great experiences.
  • Can dig deep into the data, think from first principles, and deliver the right results.
  • Has the ability to thrive with a high level of autonomy and responsibility.
Preferred qualifications
  • Experience working on financial products.
  • Conducting product market research and building buy-in for product ideas from internal stakeholders and leadership.
  • Experience building brand new products or working in a startup environment.
  • Experience working with GTM teams to bring a new product to market.

Hybrid work at Stripe
Office-assigned Stripes spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This hits a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility about how to do this in a way that makes sense for individuals and their teams.
