Description
As an IT Plant Support Analyst, you will provide hands-on technical support for IT systems and infrastructure at our manufacturing plant. You'll play a key role in ensuring uptime, performance, and security of critical technologies, while also contributing to global IT initiatives and projects. This role requires a proactive, customer-focused approach and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for hardware, phones, workstations, servers, networking equipment, and plant-connected devices.
  • Diagnose, repair, install, and upgrade IT-supported software and hardware following company SOPs.
  • Maintain clear communication with plant partners during issue resolution and system outages.
  • Use the Service Management tool to log, track, and resolve support tickets.
  • Identify trends in support issues and collaborate with appropriate teams to address root causes.
  • Roll out new IT processes, hardware, and software at plant locations.
  • Ensure contractors and engineers adhere to company IT policies.
  • Participate in or lead small to medium-sized IT projects using enterprise project management tools.
  • Provide 24/7 support coverage as needed for plant operations.
  • Create and maintain documentation for plant support processes.
  • Support strategic IT initiatives and collaborate with global IT teams to deliver solutions.

Required Skills

  • Strong troubleshooting and customer service abilities
  • Experience with Active Directory, SCCM, Office 365
  • Network support including CAT6 and fiber optic cabling
  • Familiarity with service management tools and IT best practices

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3-4 years of IT support experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Ability to analyze support trends and recommend improvements
  • Experience working with plant engineers to implement IT solutions
  • Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
