Vaco is actively seeking a Manager, Enterprise Asset Maintenance & Procurement Technology to support our client’s continued growth in Memphis. This is a unique opportunity to join a highly respected organization that is a proven leader in their field.

Position Overview

The Manager of CMMS & Procurement Applications is responsible for leading the technology platforms that support maintenance management, equipment reliability, and procurement operations across multiple manufacturing sites.  This role oversees a team of application specialists and analysts, works closely with business leaders, and ensures the effective utilization, integration, and enhancement of multiple enterprise systems.

The position blends leadership skills, technical expertise, and cross-functional business collaboration to drive operational efficiency and system performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of CMMS and procurement application specialists.
  • Partner with operations, maintenance, procurement, and finance leaders to identify opportunities for process and system improvement.
  • Oversee configuration, upgrades, and integrations for CMMS platforms (e.g., IBM Maximo, Ivara, Dynastar).
  • Implement / integrate / migrate applications to achieve system harmony and maximize operational efficiencies.
  • Manage application governance, project roadmaps, and vendor relationships.
  • Ensure system compliance with licensing, security, regulatory standards, and operational best practices.
  • Actively guide / participate in major initiatives to ensure quality project delivery and on-time execution.
  • Track and report on key metrics for system usage, performance, and return on investment.

Qualifications:
  • Hands-on knowledge of CMMS platforms and procurement systems, preferably IBM Maximo.
  • Experience in manufacturing or similar asset-intensive industrial environments.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and resources within a matrixed international distributed environment.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams, vendor partners, and business stakeholders.

  • Cadence: 5 Days Onsite
  • International Travel: Approximately 25% (1 week per month)
  • Target Compensation: $120k - $150k plus bonus potential
