Pay: $60.28 - $64.28/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment.
Description:
This person will become a member of the Enterprise Security Application Support & Delivery team primarily developing our Archer CALM tool. This person will need to be local as they will be hybrid. While this role will initially be a project-only role, there is potential for this position to turn into the longer-term support/development role with eventual conversion to an employee.
This position will possess the following primary job duties:
- Has deep understanding of the development cycle.
- Is able to design and build complex software solutions.
- Has experience turning complex ideas into user stories. From there, can turn user stories into workable solutions, providing estimates to complete the work, and breaking down complex work into smaller components.
- Assists product owners and business users with questions.
- Ensures adherence to all regulatory requirements.
- Utilizes appropriate Human Performance tools, especially during testing and implementation activities.
- Is able effectively transfer knowledge of technologies built to a less-skilled support team.
- Assists with testing and migrating code through test regions.
- Ensures adherence to appropriate design, coding and source control standards.
- Leads design and code walk-throughs as a presenter or reviewer.
- Is able to present information on technically complex subjects in an understandable manner in both oral and written form.
- Recognizes appropriate times to provide this communication.
- Exhibits maturity, confidence and a proper level of assertiveness when needed.
- Effectively handles stress and frustration.
- Demonstrates the ability to absorb change and continue with positive results.
- This role will begin as a project role and the expectation will not include being on call after-hours. But if this role turns into a primary support/development role, the contractor would join the call out rotation (one week every 3-4 months).
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- 5-10+ years experience with application development and support
- Strong interpersonal skills and written/oral communications skills to work effectively with business partners, peer IT resources, managed service providers and all levels of management
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to work on multiple user stories concurrently and properly prioritize required tasks
- Experience working within an application solution delivery life cycle
Technical Skills (in order of preference):
- Experience working as an Archer Administrator
- Strong knowledge of building Archer Applications, Questionnaires and Advanced Workflow
- Implementation and integration with other tools experience
- Managing multiple data feed types
- Thorough understanding of access control and record permissions
- Strong SQL Server Skills
Desired Qualifications:
- APIs
- Experience with applicable standards, IT Security, and ability to apply/produce appropriate deliverables
- Experience working with remote teams
- Helpful traits for this role include critical thinking, self-starting, inquisitiveness, and especially, a desire to grow and learn
