Job Title: System Administrator Engineer Nuclear Systems Administrator

Primary location of assignment: Surry Power Station VA 12 Months
Top Required Skills
1) Must have hands on experience and operational systems knowledge and experience in Windows, VMWare, and Linux in the nuclear field
2) Experience assisting and maintaining virtual and physical server configuration and management in a nuclear plant
3) Must know and have used common programming and scripting languages (Ladder logic, PowerShell, etc.)
4) Must have used experience with and have worked with industrial Control System (ICS) networking (Profibus, Profinet, Modbus, OPC, etc.) in a nuclear plant
5) REQUIRED: SCADA and DCS configuration (Ovation and Common Q)
6) Database and domain administration experience
7) Cisco IOS Firewall and switch configuration and management

High Level Project Overview:
This individual will be one of the Digital Control System Administrators at Power Station. This role will support the primary system administrator. They will also provide expert, detailed analysis of vendor recommendations and Field Change Notices (FCNs) in support of Engineering Changes. Responsibilities include:
Maintains, configures, tests, and troubleshoots nuclear power plant protection and control systems. This includes computer control system software and hardware, and operator control interfaces.
Possesses strong configuration management skills
Inspect, test, and maintain control system networks including servers, workstations, firewalls, data acquisition systems, and peripheral equipment.
Maintaining/modifying/updating the installed control system software
Providing technical support, input, and oversight for Factory and Site Acceptance Testing and Simulations (e.g., reviewing and approving procedures and observing activities).
Interfacing with the primary equipment supplier and project stakeholders to support technical reviews and input.
Reporting and presenting status to engineering team lead, project managers, and management team on a periodic basis.
