Worldwide Technology is looking for a Learning Management Content Creator. This job is part of WWT s Strategic Resourcing services. The candidate will be supporting a WWT customer and will be employed by one of WWT s preferred partners.

Location: Rosemead, CA
Duration: 6 months

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation & Editing:
  • Create, edit, and optimize video content for courses and training programs on our LMS.
  • Collaborate with instructional designers and subject matter experts to transform learning objectives into engaging multimedia content.
  • Edit video footage using Camtasia and Adobe Premiere, ensuring high production quality and seamless integration with our LMS platform.
  • Utilize audio, text, and graphic enhancements to produce engaging instructional videos and tutorials.

  • Platform Expertise:
  • Manage and upload content to various content platforms such as Vimeo and YouTube, ensuring optimal resolution, metadata, and accessibility features are in place.
  • Ensure content is compatible and displays correctly on multiple devices and browsers within the LMS.
  • Stay up-to-date on best practices for video hosting, platform optimization, and troubleshooting common issues with Vimeo, YouTube, and LMS integrations.
  • LMS Management & Optimization:
  • Work within multiple Learning Management Systems (LMS) to upload, test, and optimize learning content, including SCORM packages, video, and interactive media.
  • Ensure the content is structured, tagged, and categorized in accordance with LMS requirements for easy navigation and learner engagement.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to video content, upload errors, or course displays.
  • Project Management:
  • Manage end-to-end content development and editing projects from concept through to delivery, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, including instructional designers, developers, and project managers to ensure smooth content creation and integration.
  • Track and report on the progress of content-related projects, managing milestones and adjusting timelines when necessary.
  • Collaboration & Communication:
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of project statuses, challenges, and deliverables.
  • Offer feedback on video content and strategies for enhancing learner engagement.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and strategy discussions to continuously improve content quality and delivery. Qualifications:
  • Experience:
  • Proven experience as a Content Editor, Video Editor, or similar role, with a portfolio of relevant work, especially within an LMS environment.
  • Strong experience with video editing tools, including Camtasia and Adobe Premiere.
  • Experience working with Vimeo and YouTube as content distribution platforms.
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (e.g., Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard, or similar platforms).
  • Solid understanding of SCORM, AICC, Tin Can API, and other e-learning standards.
  • Strong understanding of the video and multimedia production process, including pre-production, production, and post-production.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent video editing, sound design, and color correction skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Trello, Asana, Monday.com) for task tracking and team coordination.
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring content is polished, accurate, and aligned with brand standards.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with various teams.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical and creative challenges.
  • Ability to manage competing deadlines and adapt to changes quickly in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with advanced LMS features like gamification, quizzes, and interactive learning tools.
  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS and basic coding skills to tweak LMS content or troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Knowledge of instructional design principles or experience working closely with instructional designers.

Rate/Salary: A reasonable estimate of the current pay range for this position is $40.00 to $50.00 per hourly on W2. Actual pay will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs, and will be set by your employer. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in base pay.
