Network Administrator

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Network Administrator to manage and maintain our organization's computer networks. The ideal candidate will ensure reliable, secure, and high-performance network operations across all departments. This role involves configuring hardware, troubleshooting issues, and implementing network security protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls)
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls
• Ensure network security through firewalls, VPNs, and antivirus systems
• Perform regular system updates and backups
• Document network configurations and procedures
• Collaborate with IT support to resolve technical issues
• Plan and implement network upgrades and expansions

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Network Administrator or similar role
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or similar network equipment
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux server environments
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Certifications like CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent are a plus

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure)
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
• Scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash)
