Assembly Operator

Staffmark is seeking an Assembly Operator to join a leading electronics manufacturing team in Newburyport, MA. This role involves precision work with microelectronics, including chip-and-wire assembly, visual inspections, and component processing in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $19.50 - $21.50/hour

Shifts Available:

• 1st Shift


• 2nd Shift

Responsibilities:

• Operate manual, automatic, and semi-automatic microelectronics assembly equipment


• Inspect die and packages using high- and low-power microscopes to meet Military and JEDEC standards


• Follow written, verbal, and spec-driven instructions


• Use hand tools to process delicate parts without damage


• Train others on basic assembly processes and equipment operation


• Maintain organized, audit-ready work areas


• Enter data and move product using computer-based manufacturing systems

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED


• Basic computer skills


• Strong attention to detail


• Good communication skills


• Prior experience in microelectronics or similar precision assembly is a plus
