Performs skilled inspection activities that involve diagnosis of a variety of electrical parts, harnesses, equipment, components and/or systems.
Uses diagnostic and test equipment and a variety of tools specific to the trade.
Applies principles and practices of electrical and electronics theories.
Interprets and follows technical manuals, blueprints, mechanical drawings, schematics, Service Bulletins, Airworthiness Directives, government and industry standard practices.
Makes computer entries and completes various types of paperwork inspection and certification documents in accordance with FAA Regulations and company policies.
Follows industry/government specific guidelines, particularly as they relate to safety, health and environmental practices.
Assists with research and development of new capabilities; this will include reading and understanding new manuals and may include on and off site training.
Assists with the maintenance of shop equipment and supplies.
Maintains on organized workstation and shop floor in accordance with 5S standards in place.
The expected salary range for this position is between $22.14/hr - $34.79/hr USD. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, education, and other factors permitted by law.

Education: High School diploma or 2-year technical degree (preferred)
Experience: 5+ years.
Computer Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Other Skills:
Highly skilled in assembly methodologies for electrical components, parts, and assemblies.
Strong attention to details and work in a fast-paced department
Ability to handle stress diplomatically.
Ability to communicate clearly in English language.
Ability to use common hand tools and precision measuring equipment such as micrometers and gauges.
Ability to use electrical measuring equipment such as multimeters, temperature gauges
Ability to safely operate electrical equipment (power supplies) in accordance with company policies
Crimping and Soldering Skills and the ability to determine their adequate to meet defined requirements.
Ability to read and interpret component maintenance manuals and drawings in order to diagnose equipment malfunctions.
Ability to train other Electrical Quality Inspectors and support Electrical Technicians
Preferred Skills (not required):
2-year technical degree
