Project Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Avaya Contact Center Telecom Engineer to support a newly inherited integration project focused on building a robust Contact Center IVR for our Charlotte, North Carolina business operations. The role involves close collaboration with internal teams and external vendors responsible for major implementation activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and support Avaya-based Contact Center solutions.
  • Participate in the IVR build and integration efforts with external vendors.
  • Configure and optimize systems involving Swampfox (Contact Center), Verint, and Korbyt (Wallboard) solutions.
  • Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of the telecom environment.
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver seamless communication solutions.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Avaya Contact Center technologies.
  • Working knowledge of Swampfox, Verint, and Korbyt platforms.
  • Proven background in Contact Center engineering, IVR configuration, and telecom integrations.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and vendor coordination skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working in enterprise environments with complex contact center ecosystems.
  • Familiarity with voice network operations and telecom infrastructure.
