Job Title: IBM Sterling Integrator (SI) EDI Analyst Map Development
Location: Bentonville AR (Onsite role) Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced IBM Sterling Integrator (SI) EDI Analyst with strong expertise in map development and B2B integrations to support a client engagement. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining EDI and non-EDI maps, configuring Sterling Integrator business processes, and ensuring reliable data exchange between enterprise systems and trading partners.

This role requires deep hands-on experience with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator, EDI standards, and multiple communication protocols.

Key Responsibilities Map Development & Integration
  • Design, develop, and optimize EDI and non-EDI maps using IBM Sterling Mapper or equivalent tools

  • Create and maintain translation maps for ANSI X12, EDIFACT, XML, and JSON formats

  • Configure envelopes, trading partner profiles, and communication parameters

  • Perform unit testing, system testing, and validation to ensure accuracy and performance

Business Process Configuration
  • Design, implement, and maintain Business Processes (BPs) using BPML in IBM Sterling Integrator

  • Integrate Sterling Integrator with internal systems, enterprise applications, and external trading partners

  • Configure and support communication protocols including AS2, SFTP, FTP, HTTPS, MQ, and VAN

  • Develop reusable components, templates, and standards to improve efficiency and scalability

Support & Maintenance
  • Monitor and troubleshoot business process execution, system alerts, and transaction failures

  • Provide Level 2 / Level 3 production support for IBM Sterling Integrator-related incidents

  • Assist with system upgrades, patches, performance tuning, and environment maintenance

Collaboration & Documentation
  • Collaborate with business analysts, integration architects, and partner onboarding teams

  • Create and maintain technical documentation including map specifications, BP flows, and solution designs

  • Provide knowledge transfer, mentoring, and technical guidance to junior team members

Required Qualifications Technical Skills
  • Strong hands-on experience with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator (SI), BPML, and Map Editor

  • Proven experience designing, testing, and deploying maps and business processes in SI

  • Solid understanding of EDI standards (ANSI X12, EDIFACT) and data transformation concepts

  • Experience with communication protocols: AS2, SFTP, FTP, HTTPS, MQ

  • Proficiency in XML, JSON, and related schemas (XSD, DTD)

Professional Skills
  • Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with partner onboarding and certificate/key management

  • Familiarity with Sterling File Gateway (SFG) and Sterling Control Center (SCC)

  • Exposure to cloud-based B2B integrations (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)

  • 7 9 years of hands-on experience with IBM Sterling Integrator, with a strong focus on EDI and Map Development
