We are seeking a highly skilled Google Cloud Platform Senior Lead Developer with expertise in designing cloud-based data solutions, developing frameworks, and integrating analytics platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), Python, SAS, and Teradata, with proven leadership in driving end-to-end cloud data initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and development of scalable data frameworks and cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform.
Collaborate with architecture teams to define cloud infrastructure and data design standards.
Develop, optimize, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes using Python, SAS, and Teradata.
Implement data integration and transformation logic for analytics and reporting.
Drive best practices in data governance, security, and cloud performance optimization.
Mentor and guide junior developers and contribute to overall technical direction.
Work closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Required Skills & Experience:
7+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3+ years in Google Cloud Platform ecosystem.
Strong hands-on experience with BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Composer, and related Google Cloud Platform tools.
Proficiency in Python programming for data engineering and automation.
Experience with SAS for analytics and Teradata for large-scale data warehousing.
Proven expertise in framework design, architecture patterns, and CI/CD implementation.
Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and performance tuning skills.
Strong communication and leadership abilities to manage cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Google Cloud Platform Professional Data Engineer or Google Cloud Platform Architect certification.
Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, or Power BI).
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
