Location- Hybrid in Houston, TX
Contract to Hire
We are seeking a highly experienced Enterprise Architect with over 12+ years of progressive IT experience and deep expertise in cloud infrastructure and security. This role is pivotal in defining, implementing, and governing enterprise-level architecture strategies that enable secure, scalable, and efficient cloud environments across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mix of technical leadership, business acumen, and hands-on knowledge of cloud platforms, security frameworks, and enterprise IT infrastructure.

Skills:

• EA with expertise in Cloud Infrastructure and Security.
• Certifications in Cloud Infrastructure & Security are a plus.

Required Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum 12 years in IT, with at least 5+ years as an Enterprise Architect and 6+ years working with cloud and security architecture.

Education: Bachelor s or master s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
Certifications (preferred):
AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional

Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert

Google Professional Cloud Architect

TOGAF, SABSA, or Zachman Framework Certification

CISSP, CISM, or equivalent security certifications
Key Skills:
Deep knowledge of public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)

Strong grasp of enterprise security principles and frameworks

Proficiency in architectural modeling, road mapping, and EA tools

Knowledge of containerization, microservices, and orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)

Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and presentation skills

Agile/SAFe, DevOps, and CI/CD pipeline integration experience
