Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and strategic Organizational Change Manager (OCM) to support a critical Finance and Human Capital Management (HCM) ERP implementation initiative. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive change management strategies that drive stakeholder engagement, facilitate user adoption, and minimize disruption throughout the implementation lifecycle. This role requires a blend of strong interpersonal skills, technical understanding, and experience in organizational transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute change management strategies and plans aligned with project milestones and business goals.

  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to assess organizational impacts, identify change readiness, and gather feedback.

  • Design and deliver communication and engagement plans to support awareness and adoption of new systems.

  • Identify potential resistance and develop mitigation tactics to proactively address concerns.

  • Collaborate with training teams to support the development and delivery of user training programs tailored to end-user needs.

  • Track, measure, and report on change adoption, readiness, and effectiveness through qualitative and quantitative metrics.

  • Work closely with the ERP implementation team to align technical delivery with change enablement efforts.

  • Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, and change impact assessments as needed.

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Organizational Change Management.

  • At least 4 years of experience supporting ERP implementations in Finance, HCM, or related HR/administrative domains.

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working on technology projects, preferably in higher education or similarly complex environments.

  • Proven success leading or supporting Finance and/or HCM system transformation initiatives.

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholder groups, including technical teams, business units, and leadership.

  • Strong facilitation, communication, and project coordination skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality change management deliverables.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Change Management (e.g., Prosci, CCMP).

  • Experience working in higher education institutions is a plus.

  • Based in the Tri-State Area (NY/NJ/CT).

  • Willingness and ability to work onsite at least once per month.
