Salary: $150,000.00 USD Annually - $160,000.00 USD Annually
Description:
Job Title: Senior Engineering Project Manager

Salary Range: $150k-$160k, based on experience

Location: Woodlynne, NJ

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Travel: 25%

Relocation: Not applicable

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee plant expansions and equipment installations to enhance production efficiency.
  • Implement new technologies, including mechanization and robotization.
  • Design and manage projects, including planning, budgeting, and supplier relations.
  • Participate in occupational health and safety processes and committees.

Qualifications:
  • Technical training in mechanical or industrial engineering.
  • Experience in the private manufacturing sector.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage small project teams.
  • Strong leadership, collaboration, and team-building skills.
  • Results-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects across various sites.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement processes (e.g., Kaizen, Six Sigma).
  • Experience in project budget management and presenting capex (ROI) with Gantt charts.
  • Hands-on presence in floor operations.
  • Autonomous, resourceful, energetic, dynamic, and innovative.

Education/Training:
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Engineering degree preferred.

Experience Requirements:
  • 10 years of experience in engineering/project management.
  • 5 years of experience in food processing.

Physical Requirements:
  • Occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, and climb stairs.
  • May occasionally lift or move office products and supplies.

Other Duties:
  • May require occasional travel to other company locations or for training purposes.
  • Standard office hours with some flexibility required for closing periods and audits.
