RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client in San Jose, CA is searching for a Server/Hardware Product Manager to join their compute product management team. This group is responsible for the full lifecycle of taking a product line to NPI and then into sustainment and support.
Summary:
In this role, the GTM Product Manager will work closely with internal cross-functional teams to help conduct analysis, develop recommendations, and drive the creation of Compute hardware solutions for enterprise networking technology. They will focus on translating technical capabilities into customer benefits, develop marketing collateral, and create critical assets for partner and sales-readiness.
Responsibilities:
* Targeting EPIC on EPYC as a workload along with targeted customers and sales plays
* Account take-out specialist for AMD sourced Blade leads & bare Nexus accounts
* Ensuring Competitive Programs for AMD (Channel - front and backend, and customer offers)
* Revitalizing our SP & Web customer base and value proposition
* Single socket positioning / decision tree. Cost optimization of 1U boxes for target use cases/overcome FUD of single socket box
* VMWare Transition - Modernization and consolidation via VM density using high frequency CPUs offering greater VM density + Nutanix Validation
* Aligning AI & AMD priorities into Project Flash
* Seller Sales Playbook & Quote Optimizer to ensure we are leading with AMD in all deals
(currently, three disparate tools exist, making it difficult for our sellers to lead with AMD when we are losing on Intel deals)
* Work with engineering project management to communicate project status, resolve issues, and ensure that high quality products are delivered on time
* Manage cross-functional schedules and report on project health to management
REQUIREMENTS:
* To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
* Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus
* Experience with a full lifecycle of taking a product through introduction
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
