Job Details

Job Summary: We are seeking dedicated Desktop Support Technicians to join our clients' team for a project involving the deployment of single sign-on badges and new systems across multiple clinic locations. This role includes refreshing approximately 5,000 desktops and laptops to meet current recommendations, as well as workstation refreshes. The position requires onsite presence in Sioux Falls and occasional travel to other locations. The project is set to begin in the first week of March and will conclude by May 2026 (1 year contract).
Top Skills Required:
  • Desktop Support: Proficiency in providing technical support for desktop systems, including setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Hardware Knowledge: Strong understanding of computer hardware components and their functionalities.
  • Technical Support: Ability to assist users with technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to their workflow.
  • Help Desk Support: Experience in managing help desk operations, including ticketing systems and user inquiries.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
  • Troubleshooting: Capability to identify and resolve technical problems efficiently and accurately.
  • Imaging and SCCM: Experience with system imaging and using System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) for deployments.
  • End User Training: Ability to provide training to end users on new systems and technologies.
  • Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel to locations such as Aberdeen, Mitchell, Yankton, and Marshall for minimal support, typically involving quick day trips.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
