Position :- Senior Business Analyst

Contract :- W2

Job Summary:

The Senior Business Analyst will lead the analysis, documentation, and improvement of business processes and system requirements across multiple projects. This role involves close collaboration with stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to ensure successful delivery of solutions that align with business goals and strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, functional specifications, and use cases.

  • Partner with stakeholders to understand business processes, objectives, and challenges.

  • Translate business needs into clear and concise technical requirements for development teams.

  • Facilitate requirement workshops, JAD sessions, and stakeholder interviews.

  • Perform gap analysis and identify areas for process improvement.

  • Create and maintain process flows, data mapping, and business models.

  • Work closely with QA teams to validate requirements and ensure proper test coverage.

  • Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) by preparing test scenarios, reviewing results, and tracking defects.

  • Serve as a liaison between business units, technical teams, and vendors.

  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.

  • Prepare detailed documentation such as BRDs, FRDs, and system design documents.

  • Ensure alignment with SDLC, Agile, or hybrid methodologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field (Master s preferred).

  • 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.

  • Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies.

  • Proficiency with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, MS Office Suite, and SQL.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.

  • Strong documentation and presentation skills.

  • Experience in data analysis, reporting, or BI tools (optional).

Preferred Experience (Nice to Have):
  • Domain experience in Finance, Healthcare or Government projects.

  • Knowledge of APIs, data integration.

  • Certification such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Agile BA is an added advantage.
