Edward Jones is seeking an experienced and talented individual to help in the development and expansion of SharePoint Online and Power Automate. The ideal candidate is highly motivated to innovate and partner with key stakeholders to enable an increasingly mobile and collaborative workforce. As a developer on the Tech Collaboration Development team, you will help co-create and forge the enterprise SharePoint and Power Platform strategy and roadmap. Providing a highly available environment that aligns with industry best practices and premium user experience are top priorities for this group.

What You'll Do:
  • Actively lead and support the build out of SharePoint modern team and communication sites in SharePoint Online
  • Lead the design and development of business solutions leveraging SharePoint, Power Automate, and/or Power Apps
  • Provide technical experience in the planning and execution of the enterprise SharePoint strategy
  • Maintain highly available systems, quickly triage any user impacting event
  • Partner with key vendors and areas across the firm to provide appropriate technology solutions
  • Support the user community through direct communication and high touch interactions
  • Provide technical mentorship to internal stakeholders, peers, and junior associates
    Align development and deliverables with the firm's strategic direction

Position Requirements

What Experience You'll Need:
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems preferred or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in SharePoint Online solutions, development, and/or administration
  • Proficiency in developing solutions through Power Apps and/or Power Automate
  • Proven background in design, implementation, migration, and support of SharePoint Online
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with SharePoint and Power Platform capabilities
  • Experience with React, TypeScript, JavaScript/JQuery, PowerShell, CSS
  • Detailed understanding of project management methodologies, system development lifecycle, infrastructure best practices, risk management concepts and capacity planning
  • Strong willingness to learn and apply new and emerging technologies

Current INTERNAL home-based associates: While this role is posted as hybrid, if selected and accepted, you may retain your home-based status . Edward Jones intends in good faith to continue offering the role as home-based, though future business or regulatory needs may require on-site work.

**Candidates that live within in a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office three days per week, with preference for Tuesday through Thursday.**

Salary Information

Edward Jones' compensation and benefits package includes medical and prescription drug, dental, vision, voluntary benefits (such as accident, hospital indemnity, and critical illness), short- and long-term disability, basic life, and basic AD&D coverage. Short- and long-term disability, basic life, and basic AD&D coverage are provided at no cost to associates. Edward Jones offers a 401k retirement plan, and tax-advantaged accounts: health savings account, and flexible spending account. Edward Jones observes ten paid holidays and provides 15 days of vacation for new associates beginning on January 1 of each year, as well as sick time, personal days, and a paid day for volunteerism. Associates may be eligible for bonuses and profit sharing. All associates are eligible for the firm's Employee Assistance Program.
