Job Title: Azure Data Engineer
Location: Dallas, TX.
Long Term Contract
Only W2. No C2C
Role & Responsibilities:
  • Data Engineering & Cloud Development:
  • Design, implement, and support analytics solutions for business insights.
  • Develop data migration and engineering solutions using Azure services:
  • Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, Event Hub, Azure Stream Analytics, Databricks, etc.
  • Implement batch & streaming data pipelines in the cloud.
  • Work on data modeling, ingestion, preparation, and testing.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and ensure performance tuning.
  • DevOps & Collaboration:
  • Be part of a DevOps team that owns and supports the product.
  • Work both independently and within a team environment.
  • Follow coding standards, best practices, privacy, and security guidelines.
  • Minimum Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of software development experience in an agile DevOps environment.
  • 3+ years of data analytics experience using SQL.
  • 2+ years of cloud development and data lake experience, preferably Microsoft Azure.
  • Hands-on experience with:
  • Azure EventHub, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, DevOps, Blob Storage, Data Lake, Power Apps, Power BI.
  • Scripting & Programming: Python, Spark, Unix, SQL.
  • Data Platforms: Teradata, SQL Server, Snowflake, ADLS.
  • CI/CD Tools: GitHub, Jenkins, Terraform, Azure DevOps.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in data engineering and cloud technologies.
  • Airline industry experience (a plus).
  • Azure Development Track Certification (preferred).
  • Spark Certification (preferred).
  • Strong expertise in Azure cloud services for data processing and management.
