Onsite/Remote: Onsite Position

Your Responsibilities

As a Senior Software Engineer for John Deere in Chicago, IL, you will:

  • Convert business requirements into high-quality solutions with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance, Supply Chain, and Commerce platform (formerly Finance & Operations);
  • Communicate with relevant stakeholders to continually demonstrate, refine and improve our products, operate within an Agile/Scrum team and participate in team Scrum events;
  • Operate within a Agile/Scrum team and participate in team Scrum events;
  • Work alongside with Deere Product Owner and 3rd part functional consultants to develop a deep understanding of the constantly evolving Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance, Supply Chain, and Commerce platform.
  • 20% domestic travel required. Must live within normal commuting distance of worksite. Up to 20% remote work allowed.

What Skills You Need

  • 5 years of experience in analyze, design, develop, and test the ERP applications using Microsoft technologies including Microsoft Dynamics AX using X++ programming language (AX2009, AX2012 and D365 Finance & Operations), and SQL server
  • 5 years of experience in utilize X++, .Net (C#) languages, OOPS Concepts and Visual studio for the development of software systems and integrations using Data migration tools, Integration frameworks and SQL Server Database Management for database maintenance and troubleshoot the software application and provide production support for Dynamics AX application and data base servers
  • 4 years of experience in design, develop, and implement customizations, extensions, Chain of commands, event handlers, Web services and Data entities for Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations
  • 2 years of experience using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps (Canvas and Model driven app) and Power Automate, Power BI to extend and Azure resources including Azure Logic app, Azure Functions, Azure Data factory, Storage accounts, Service Bus and Blob containers
  • 4 years of experience in deploy and maintain LCS (Life cycle services) for cloud hosted environments and upgrade the D365 F&O environments to comply with Microsoft's patch, upgrade, and CI/CD pipelines for Build Automation
  • 5 years of experience in develop, test, and troubleshoot cloud technologies on MS Azure (Azure DevOps) and develop reporting and automate the processes using SQL reporting tools including Dynamic's AX MorphX reports

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Communication Engineering or related field plus 5 years related experience.
