What You'll Be Doing

The MQ Tech at Lilly Sr. Director Global MES will serve as the leader for the IT function supporting and implementing Syncade and PharmaSuite and providing support to PMX across all MQ.

This leader will be responsible: for
  • Defined implementation strategy for MES across all MQ.
  • Responsible for the implementation for Next Gen MES/PharmaSuite across all Pharma Manufacturing sites.
  • Responsible to provided strong/consistent and global support model across all MQ in a 24/7 Environment.
  • Responsible of technical people development and recruitment to support & implement MES.
  • Ensure always stated of quality and compliance.
  • Ensure the IT teams are focused on providing solutions and services that harvest value, advance productivity, and enable Operational Excellence through the implementation of MES and other capabilities.
  • Ensure strong lifecycle management processes are in place for all IT systems from conceptual design and development through delivery, maintenance, and retirement.
  • Act as an interface between the local and corporate IT organization and the assigned site organizations.
  • Provide timely communication of project progress and issues and personnel issues to site heads, site lead teams, global site IT peers, and central MQ IT organizations.
  • Partner with Managers to ensure effective and consistent communication to the sites.
  • Ensure adequate release management, change management, deployment and LCM take place, as needed in the evolution of the program.
  • Support with the global organization all the standardization efforts driven a more efficient and effective program.
  • Assure the adequate partnership and accountability with the vendor in place.
  • Work with the business, IT Manager, and other IT Site Directors peers to regularly update strategy and execution plan.
  • Ensure effective communications across team resources, sites, and service provider.


What You Should Bring (preferred skills)
  • Regulatory compliance knowledge and experience (cGMP).
  • Effective people and team leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage and contribute to multiple concurrent activities and adapt to changes in priorities.
  • Ability to cross functionally collaborate.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated creativity, analytical thinking, and the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems.


Your Basic Qualifications (with no sponsorship)
  • Bachelor's Degree in IT, Engineering, or related technical field, Or High School Diploma/GED with
  • 10+ years IT leadership experience working in Pharma and Manufacturing and Quality, especially API Manufacturing
  • 10+ years of strong experience with MES system implementations, support and maintenance.
