Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented C3BM Space Systems Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to support the Space Integration directorate of the C2BMC Program Office and will work on current space operations, future concepts, new functionality, and integration of new space assets into the Missile Defense System.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Provide systems engineering and project management support to the MDA/DCCDS Space Integration Directorate of DCC (C2BMC).
  • Prepare analysis, schedules, reports, and briefings that address integrating advanced capabilities associated with C3BM-BOA architecture.
  • Work closely with external organizations such as U.S. Space Force, U.S. Space Command, Space Development Agency, and other communities of interest toward the integration, test, and fielding of space capabilities in support of missile defense.
  • Assist with efforts to coordinate the requirements process, report on the utility and feasibility of requirements changes, and assess proposed requirements for technical and programmatic feasibility.
  • Participate in DCC/BOA capability engineering reviews, milestone decision processes and baseline reviews of technology development programs.
  • Provide support to Ballistic Missile Defense Overhead Persistent Infrared Architecture (BOA) engineering and programmatic reviews.
  • Monitor BOA Agile Development and support BOA cybersecurity efforts.
  • Support integration of Space Based Infrared System (SBIRS) into the Missile Defense System.
  • Facilitate integration of BOA into SBIRS facilities.
  • Coordinate efforts between the Space Integration Program Office and Advance Development Program Office.
  • Advise Space Integration budget execution and contract actions.
  • Prepare agendas, briefings, and minutes or synopsis for the various forums.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:
  • Master's in STEM related field and 12+ years experience of relevant experience
  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • Experience with Missile Defense System and implementation of C3BM focused space assets
  • Understand System Of Systems concepts
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment
  • Self-starter
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Works well within a team environment

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
  • Proficient in DoD acquisition

Security Clearance Requirement:
An active Top Secret SCI security clearance is required to apply, however, the selected candidate must be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance prior to the start date.

Salary Range: $120,800.00 - $217,400.00
