Tinker Federal Credit Union s Information Technology department has an immediate opening for an Infrastructure Specialist II! As an Infrastructure Specialist II, you will be responsible for the following:

 

  • Designing, testing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting the corporate data infrastructure, with emphasis on speed, efficiency, and dependability.
  • Performing administrator duties for selected systems.
  • Serving as a member of the infrastructure team and will work to support and manage the core system of the Credit Union.
  • Supporting and maintain IBM Power systems running Power VM and AIX LPARs.
  • Assisting in disaster recovery planning to enable continuity of operations of infrastructure hardware and software.
  • Working with other areas of IT and TFCU to support operations as required.

 

Education/Experience:

You must have a bachelor s degree in information technology, computer science, math or a related field for all levels is required. Applicable work experience and/or military experience may be substituted for education at the rate of two years of experience for one year of education.

 

Requires five years of relatable experience, with emphasis on one or more of the following: Windows Server 2016 or higher, modern Active Directory administration, modern Linux system administration, AIX 7.x system administration, experience administrating an enterprise VMware vSphere environment or experience with administering a modern Citrix environment. Functional knowledge of one or more scripting environments. Experience with Azure Cloud services is and financial institutions is preferred.

 

Keys to success:

In order to be successful as an Infrastructure Specialist II, you must possess these qualifications:

 

  • Ability to obtain and maintain the knowledge of TFCU Operations.
  • Knowledge of computer equipment and related peripherals.
  • Ability to use basic manual tools for servicing personal computer equipment.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Windows operating systems, Workstations, Back Office Suite, Microsoft Office, and other software packages to diagnose equipment, software, or operational problems.
  • Excellent organizational skills and an attention to details in order to keep several projects running simultaneously.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Working knowledge and experience of Jack Henry s Symitar/Episys core platform, including, the installation of service packs and releases.
  • Working knowledge and experience of SymXchange, SymConnect, job files, and Symop Continuity Services.
  • Working knowledge of PowerShell, Korn shell and Virtual Basic (VB)Script.
  • Working knowledge of SMA s OpCon scheduling product.
  • General knowledge of Automated Clearing House (ACH), Automated Teller Machine (ATM) and share draft processing.
  • General knowledge of Python and Perl.
  • Experience with WindowsSecureCopy (WinSCP), WinSock File Transfer Protocol (WS_FTP) Pro, MoveIT and Axway.
  • Level II - Relevant modern and demonstratable knowledge and experience in at least two areas of expertise.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

  1. Incumbent Bonding REQUIRED by TFCU s chosen authority.
  2. Valid driver s license, maintaining an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
  3. Introductory certification, such as CompTIA Server+ Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) or MS-900certification, or equivalent, is strongly preferred.
  4. A mid-level certification, such as VMWare Certified Professional (VCP), MS AZ-800/801, or other relevant technical certifications is required. One-year additional applicable work experience demonstrating the appropriate skills and experience may be substituted for certification.
