Job Details
Piper Companies is currently seeking an experienced HVAC SME to support the design, installation, and commissioning of HVAC systems for a new pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Bloomington, Indiana.
Responsibilities for the HVAC SME
Provide technical oversight of HVAC and environmental systems supporting cleanrooms and GMP spaces
Review HVAC designs, drawings, and control strategies (including BMS integration)
Support installation, commissioning, and qualification activities
Ensure compliance with GMP, GEP, ISO cleanroom standards, and safety requirements
Collaborate with design, construction, and CQV teams to ensure HVAC readiness
Qualifications for the HVAC SME
3+ years of HVAC experience in pharmaceutical or regulated environments
Strong knowledge of cleanroom HVAC, air change rates, pressure cascades, and filtration
Experience with commissioning and validation of HVAC systems
Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred
Compensation for the HVAC SME
Salary: Commensurate with experience
Long Term Contract (strong potential for extension)
