In this position, as an IT Technician III, you will assist with technical support to desktop computers/laptops, applications, and related technology. This includes performing equipment configuration/upgrades, troubleshooting and problem resolution, asset management, and preventative maintenance in accordance with standard guidelines and procedures.
This is a fully remote position. In this position, you will interface with other information technology team members, as well as employees, leaders, and physicians on a regular basis to support information technology needs. This position is Monday - Friday during normal business hours with on call rotation about every 4 weeks. Exact schedule to be determined. This can be a remote position if you live in the following states only: AL, AK, AR, AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, MD, MI, MN, MO, MS, NC, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, NY, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WI, WV & WY

POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for supporting business planning, tactical execution, and business integration in assigned technology area. This position's primary focus is to ensure customer satisfaction for all IT activities and support services. Acts as a team lead and resource in documenting issues, problems and concerns in regard to IT resources, tools and systems. This position may serve as a backup in the absence of management. May support some company Information Technology infrastructure, networks, hardware and applications. May provide cross coverage for Help Desk, Desktop Support or Audio/Visual teams.
CORE FUNCTIONS
1. Maintains advanced knowledge of standard work routines, equipment and day-to-day activities and/or routines.
2. Applies more advanced level instructions and procedures to resolve a variety of problems of varying complexity. Chooses best alternative from group of known possibilities. Demonstrates flexibility to adapt to various situations. Works with the customers to research and develop solutions. Designs workflows and specifications for presentation to senior members of the team and customers for feedback and approval.
3. Demonstrates communication skills. Self-directed in completing daily responsibility. Demonstrates initiative in timely completion of assigned task. Responds to standard requests from internal and/ or external customers. Interacts primarily with department peers and/ or personnel, internal and external customers.
4. Suggests improvements to existing processes and procedures. Uses discretion to prioritize assignments and duties based on changes in workflow or other immediate situations. Provides training, mentoring and guidance to less experienced team members. May assign daily workloads and tasks to team members. Completes work with minimal supervision. Maintains an organized and clean environment.
5. Troubleshoots complex information technology related issues. Interacts with various levels of customer and support groups across the facility. Understands a complex healthcare environment and meet the needs of clinical, professional and non-clinical and vendor staff. Communicates and presents to technical and non-technical audiences across facilities and at various levels.
6. Maintains current professional and technical knowledge relating to the healthcare industry by attending educational workshops/conferences, establishing personal networks, and/or maintaining relevant certification or licensure as business needs require.
7. Takes high level responsibility for selected information systems. Performs work in a fast-paced multi-tasked environment where there may be conflicting priorities or tight deadlines. Has decision-making authority for projects and applications and works at peer level across diverse areas and multiple states. Participates in meetings, presentations, visioning sessions, strategic and planning sessions, implementation activities, and supports functions company-wide.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Associates' degree and one year of experience, or three years of equivalent work experience in Information Technology is required.
Must be proficient and technically adept in the use and operation of a wide range of desktop, mobile devices and network connectivity. Knowledge of Microsoft Office O365 applications is required.
Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and interact with various levels of customer and support groups. Requires communication and presentation and organizational skills to engage technical and non-technical audiences. Requires ability to communicate and interact across all services and at various levels. Must have knowledge of Information Technology in a fast-paced environment. Requires exceptional communication, both written and verbal.
Working variable shifts and hours and carrying/responding to a pager may be required.
