Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Grafana Engineer or Developer with hands-on experience in both on-premises and cloud-based environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administrating Grafana tools, developing custom dashboards, integrating various data sources, and optimizing monitoring solutions across logs, metrics, and events. A strong background in database querying and log analysis is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain Grafana environments (both on-premises and cloud-based).
• Create, customize, and maintain Grafana dashboards tailored to business and technical requirements.
• Integrate Grafana with diverse data sources (e.g., Prometheus, InfluxDB, Elasticsearch, MySQL, PostgreSQL) using plugins, APIs, connectors, and webhooks.
• Develop and maintain custom Grafana panels/plugins where needed.
• Configure and manage monitoring for logs, metrics, and events within Grafana.
• Onboard new applications and services into Grafana for monitoring and visualization.
• Write and optimize complex SQL and NoSQL queries to extract data for dashboards and reports.
• Analyze log data for anomalies, trends, and potential issues using Grafana and its integrations.
• Collaborate with DevOps, SRE, and Application teams to improve observability and monitoring standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Grafana setup, performance, and integrations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Grafana Administrator and Developer in both on-prem and cloud setups.
• Strong hands-on experience in dashboard creation, plugin integration, and data source management.
• Experience with APIs, webhooks, and connectors for data ingestion and integration.
• In-depth knowledge of SQL and experience querying relational and non-relational databases.
• Experience in log monitoring, analysis, and visualization using Grafana and associated tools (e.g., Loki, Elasticsearch).
• Understanding of metrics collection systems like Prometheus, InfluxDB, or Graphite.
• Familiarity with log shippers like Fluentd, Logstash, or Filebeat is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Good understanding of monitoring principles, observability, and incident response workflows.
