RESPONSIBILITIES:
A client with Kforce is seeking a Business Development Manager III to join their team onsite in San Diego, California.

Responsibilities:
* Creates business strategies to facilitate company growth
* Identifies and helps to develop strategic relationships with partners or potential customers
* Works with other departments to ensure alignment of company goals, as set by senior management
* Evaluates appropriate information to forecast the return on future business transactions
* Designs and determines terms of business agreements
* Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs
* True first level manager
* Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets
* Has full authority for personnel actions

REQUIREMENTS:
* Possess over a decade (10+ years) of proven business development or sales expertise, ideally within Payroll Providers, financial services, Brokerages, Crypto Providers or other tax form providers
* Experience in data connectivity with payroll providers, financial institutions, brokerages, or other tax data sources is highly preferred
* Ability to work independently, think strategically, and demonstrate creativity in solving problems and framing opportunities
* Excellent communication skills are vital
* Resourcefulness and comfort in communicating with both sales leaders and technical leaders are also crucial for success in this role
* Extensive knowledge of department processes

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
