Location: Onsite - Local Driving Only - Dearborn MI
Travel: None
Duration: ~6 Months (Aligned with Prototype Build Schedule)

Overview:
We are seeking two experienced Diesel Calibration Engineers to support the delivery of the 27MY P708 6.7L EU2 Diesel Calibration Program. This is a newly scoped, standalone EU2 program focused on meeting European emissions and performance standards. The work involves dyno and vehicle calibration, integration, and testing, with a strong emphasis on independent execution and technical expertise.

Role 1: Dyno Calibration Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Launch and operate engine in dyno room starting December 1st.
- Perform setpoint calibration and tuning to meet EU2 requirements.
- Review emissions and engine performance data.
- Ensure compliance with engine protection limits.
- Conduct sign-off tests and support witness testing for certification.
- Collaborate with internal teams to iterate calibration over 2-3 months.
- Strong experience in dyno test environments.
- Familiarity with INCA, Bosch diesel software, and PCM platform tools.
- Ability to work independently with minimal ramp-up.
- Excellent data analysis and reporting skills.
Responsibilities:
- Perform smoke testing and calibration integration on EU2 prototype vehicle.
- Coordinate dyno and vehicle calibration to ensure consistency.
- Conduct wind tunnel and engine protection validation.
- Review and document hardware differences between base and EU2 programs.
- Disable non-applicable OBD monitors based on hardware configuration.
- Use calibration tools to manage system-level changes smartly and efficiently.
- Experience with OBD calibration and vehicle integration.
- Proficiency in INCA, Bosch PCM software, and diesel calibration platforms.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to analyze system data and collaborate across teams.
- No aftertreatment expertise required.
- December 1st: Dyno and vehicle availability.
- Dyno Calibration: 2-3 months to finalize setpoints and prepare for witness testing.
- Vehicle Calibration: 6-month timeline to reach production-ready OBD calibration.
- Prototype Build Support: Calibration work aligns with plant build schedule.
- Project Completion: Prior to final production; full visibility into deliverables.
