Embedded Engineer (Massachusetts )(Only w2)

Position: Embedded Engineer (with iOT & ISO & Linux experience) Location: On-site in Massachusetts (2 3 days/week)

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for IoT devices and systems
• Integrate hardware and software components to build efficient and scalable embedded solutions
• Work with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and Linux-based platforms
• Ensure software meets quality and regulatory standards, including ISO compliance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, QA, and product management
• Debug, test, and validate embedded systems at both the board and system level
• Maintain documentation for system architecture, design, and compliance requirements
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development tools, processes, and best practices

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• 8+ years of professional experience in embedded systems development
• Hands-on experience with IoT protocols (e.g., MQTT, CoAP, BLE, LoRa, Zigbee)
• Strong proficiency in C/C++, and embedded Linux development
• Familiarity with ISO standards (such as ISO 26262, ISO 9001, or ISO/IEC 27001)
• Strong understanding of microcontrollers, SoCs, and hardware/software integration
• Experience with debugging tools, oscilloscopes, and protocol analyzers
• Ability to read schematics and interpret hardware datasheets

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with security in embedded and IoT devices
• Knowledge of DevOps tools for embedded systems (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Docker for embedded)
• Familiarity with wireless communication stacks and networking concepts
• Previous experience working in a regulated or safety-critical industry (e.g., automotive, medical, industrial)
