Role: Linux System Engineer
Locations: Jersey City / Kennesaw, GA / Chandler, AZ
Contract 1 year
Hybrid 3 days onsite a week
Details: System Engineer with extensive Unix\Linux experience spanning various enterprise hardware platforms. To build, maintain and provide daily operational support for UCAL GWIM, Bacardi, CARD servers. Requirement for strong technical skills in troubleshooting events in highly critical environments, understanding of operational excellence and proficiency in customer service/communication.
Strong knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux version 7/8
/9 server administration
Shell scripting
Knowledge of Active Directory and authentication
mechanisms such as QAS, SSSD, etc.
Strong knowledge of storage and memory concepts
Strong network troubleshooting skills
knowledge of BMC Remedy and ITSM environment
Experience with Netcool and Atirum Orchestrator
automation tools
Experience with BladeLogic
Ability to thoroughly document processes and procedures
Diligent desire to seek opportunities to improve existing
