Title: Application Programmer IV

Location: Northeastern United States (Onsite)
Employment Type: Contract

Compensation
Pay Range:$43.97/Hrs

Description
* Serve as the primary contact for business users in the Rates sector.
* Ensure effective integration of processes into relevant organizational structures.
* Develop and maintain strong partnerships with stakeholders and development teams.
* Monitor and provide alerts for critical trading environments.
* Troubleshoot complex system issues proactively.
* Identify and resolve problem hotspots efficiently.
* Participate in a global team to manage the full front-to-back process from trade inception to risk management.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide direct support to business users in the Rates sector.
* Manage the onboarding support of processes.
* Build strong partnerships with stakeholders and development teams.
* Monitor and alert critical trading environments.
* Troubleshoot complex system issues.
* Identify and resolve problem hotspots.
* Develop tools to improve efficiency and stability.

Qualifications
* Experience providing direct support to trading desks.
* Knowledge of fixed income products.
* Understanding of market data flows.
* Familiarity with monitoring tools.
* Experience with Unix and SQL.
* Proficiency in a programming language.
* Knowledge of ITIL and grid computing.
