Job Title: SAP ABAP BTP Developer

Location: Detroit, MI (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite / Week)

Job Summary

Cogent IBS is seeking a skilled SAP ABAP BTP Developer to support a major automotive client in Detroit, MI. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in SAP ABAP development with hands-on exposure to SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform). This is a hybrid role, requiring 3 days onsite per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and enhance SAP ABAP applications in ECC/S/4HANA environments

  • Develop and deploy applications on SAP BTP, including integrations and extensions

  • Build and support RAP/CDS views, OData services, and REST APIs

  • Work with SAP Fiori/UI5 teams for backend integration

  • Integrate SAP systems with cloud and third-party applications using BTP services

  • Perform debugging, performance tuning, and code optimization

  • Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions

  • Follow SAP best practices and development standards
