Job Details
One of CEI's largest clients is seeking an Oracle CC&B Senior Developer to join their growing organization!
- Job Title: Oracle CC&B Senior Developer on W2 Contract
- Location: Paramus, NJ (Hybrid – Local candidates only)
- Duration: Contract
*Must be able to convert to a full-time employee without sponsorship, restrictions, or an additional employer*
- W2 Employment Only – No Corp to Corp / C2C arrangements.
- Expected potential for contract extension(s) and/or conversion to Full-Time/Permanent Employment.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain the Oracle Customer Care and Billing (CC&B) application
- Collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts, and architects to gather and analyze requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Write complex queries, PL/SQL code, and Java code to support the application
- Integrate CC&B with other applications using Inbound Web Services
- Establish best practices in alignment with relevant industry, regulatory, and technical requirements
- Perform code reviews, unit testing, and debugging to ensure quality and adherence to best practices
- Follow standards and document processes, procedures, and technical specifications
- Provide technical guidance to other developers
- Proactively monitor services, access, availability, performance, and usage
- Provide support for production during the day and batch run at night (on-call)
- Support Enterprise Projects and Deployment
- Stay current with the latest Oracle CC&B releases, features, and best practices
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred
- Minimum of 10 years experience in developing and maintaining Oracle Customer Care and Billing (CC&B) applications
- Strong proficiency in Oracle CC&B customizations: Batch, Algorithms, Change Handlers, UI Maps, Scripts, Business Objects, Business Services, and Inbound Web Services
- Proficiency in Java programming, SQL, and PL/SQL
- Experience with Hibernate Framework, WebLogic Server, and scripting languages (Perl/Shell/Ant)
- Familiarity with web services, RESTful APIs, and XML/JSON data formats
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab)
- Experience with enterprise schedulers like Cisco TIDAL or similar
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning skills
- Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities
- Oracle Customer Care and Billing Certification
- Office-based role requiring long periods at a desk
- Hybrid work structure; candidate must be able to commute to Paramus, NJ
