Position: Workiva Implementation Lead

Location: 100% Remote

Duration: 12+ months

Mode of Interview: Video

Must Have Skills: (this should be the summary cut through the one-page description into the must-haves)

5+ years in software implementation or consulting, preferably with Workiva or similar platforms.

Strong understanding of financial reporting, SOX/internal controls, and ESG frameworks.

Familiarity with data integration, automation, and cloud-based systems.

At least 2 Workiva implementations at large institutions

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Delivery:

o Configure Workiva environments for financial reporting, SOX compliance, ESG, and other use cases.

o Oversee data integration, automation, and reporting architecture design..

Quality Assurance:

o Validate data integrity and oversee testing outcomes to ensure accurate reporting.

o Monitor project risks and implement mitigation strategies.

Thought Leadership:

o Stay current on Workiva capabilities, regulatory changes, and industry trends.

o Contribute to methodology development and optimization strategies.

Qualifications

Experience:

o 5+ years in software implementation or consulting, preferably with Workiva or similar platforms.

o Proven track record of leading complex projects and implementing Workiva

Technical Skills:

o Strong understanding of financial reporting, SOX/internal controls, and ESG frameworks.

o Familiarity with data integration, automation, and cloud-based systems.

Soft Skills:

o Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

o Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Education:

o Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.

Preferred Certifications

Workiva Platform Certification

PMP or other project management credentials
