Immunology Scientist II/III

Piper Companies is looking for an Immunology Scientist II/III to work for a biotechnology company pioneering the development of tissue-targeted genetic medicines located in Philadelphia, PA.

Responsibilities for the Immunology Scientist II/III include:

• Perform Lab experiments - ELISA/MSD assays, proliferation assays, purification of primary immune cells, flow cytometry
• Assist with advancing drug discovery programs including assay design, assessment of early drug leads
• Train other scientist on Immunological Techniques
• Understanding of data analysis, reliability of data
• Ability to work effectively in a matrixed and highly collaborative team

Qualifications for the Immunology Scientist II/III include:

• Master's Degree in Biology or Immunology, with preference for experience in a pharmaceutical/biotech setting.
• 2+ years of experience working in a Pharmaceutical/Biotech setting
• A deep understanding of immunological techniques such as ELISA/MSD assays, proliferation assays, purification of primary immune cells (human and mouse), high level of proficiency in flow cytometry including gating, functional immune assays and other basic biochemical/immunological techniques.

Compensation for the Immunology Scientist II/III include:

• Salary up to $120,000 + 8%-10% Bonus
• Full Medical, Dental, Vision
• 5 days a week onsite
