Position Title : SQL Database Analyst

Location : Tallahassee, Florida

 

Hours : 40 hours a week.

 

Project Start : 12/29/2025

Project Duration : 6+ Months with possible extension of 12 months

Salary/Rate : W-2 Rate or 1099

Interview Type : Either Webcam Interview or In Person

Required Skills: 4 - 8 years experience

  • Demonstrated effective writing and documentation skills.
  • Skill in SQL Server database administration
  • Skill in working in Windows operating systems
  • Skill as a SQL developer and SQL Server Management Studio tools
  • Skill in creating stored procedures, views, and functions
  • Skill in supporting SQL Server data replication, high availability, and validation
  • Skill with SQL Server software installation, patching, and upgrading.
  • Ability to work independently and to resolve complex issues
  • Ability to effectively diagnose, isolate, and resolve complex problems pertaining to server
  • and data infrastructure
  • Ability to write T- SQL, Stored Procedures, Functions, and Database Triggers
  • Ability to Tune SQL and T-SQL queries for performance, index maintenance and
  • implementation, and proactively identify performance bottlenecks while providing sound solutions
  • Operational support skills, including experience with system installations, troubleshooting,
  • migrations and upgrades
  • Knowledge of Windows and PowerShell scripting
  • Skill in logical and physical database design and data models
  • Knowledge of the software development lifecycle process
  • Practical experience in monitoring and tuning databases to provide a high availability service
  • Ability to maintain currency on tools, methodologies, and technologies related to data
  • administration
  • Knowledge of data privacy and protection initiatives
  • Knowledge of SQL Server backup/recovery technologies and processes
  • Knowledge of SQL Server Replication practices and processes
  • Knowledge of SQL Server Clusters and Failover (AG clusters and regular Failover clusters)
