RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Austin, TX that is seeking a Security Engineer.
Summary:
Our Enterprise Technology client is looking for support from a Security Engineer to help with various security initiative encompassing the implementation of a new secure Azure Cloud Environment, improve the security posture of the current environment, and ensuring end point security. Join the security team within the infrastructure group supporting a global, enterprise collaborative Saas product. The Security Engineer will work with the FedRAMP SecOps team to deploy and support the new Microsoft Azure environment for the a Video Integration for Microsoft Teams.
Responsibilities:
* Deploy Trend Micro Deep Security agents for endpoint protection
* Agent deployment/coverage across endpoints (ensure installation, activation, and proper registration)
* Policy configuration and enforcement for malware/anti-exploit, host-based IPS, application control (as applicable)
* Patch/virtual patching alignment with vulnerability findings
* Monitoring agent health, version compliance, and signature/engine currency
* Troubleshooting connectivity/registration issues with SMEs when agents fail to report
* Coordinate with Qualys team to ensure agents coexist and target the same asset inventory
* Feed relevant endpoint security logs/alerts to Splunk; SecOps reviews and correlates
* Open JIRA tickets to platform teams for configuration gaps or remediation tasks
* Deploy Qualys agents and probes to perform compliance and vulnerability scanning
* Verify Microsoft Azure Govt security compliant configuration
* Ensure security logging and monitoring to Splunk Cloud
* FedRAMP Security Compliance including, Vulnerability scanning, end point malicious code protection, Security Logging, Incident detection and Response
REQUIREMENTS:
* Prior experience with FedRAMP and Microsoft Azure
* To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
* Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
