Senior Salesforce Presales Lead Public Sector
Overview
We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Presales Lead to partner closely with the Salesforce Practice Head in driving public sector engagements. This is a highly client-facing, strategic role focused on supporting sales leadership, shaping solution vision, and influencing executive stakeholders across government and public sector organizations.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary presales partner to the Salesforce Practice Head for public sector accounts.
Lead executive-level discovery sessions with government clients to understand mission goals, regulatory needs, and operational challenges.
Own solution strategy, architecture vision, and storytelling for Salesforce-based public sector programs.
Design and present tailored Salesforce solutions using Public Sector Solutions (PSS), Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and related clouds.
Support RFP/RFI responses, including solution design, technical narratives, scope, and effort estimation.
Lead client presentations, workshops, and demos with senior stakeholders (CIOs, Directors, Program Leads).
Guide account strategy, deal shaping, and positioning of Salesforce capabilities.
Ensure proposed solutions meet public sector compliance, security, and accessibility standards.
Act as a trusted advisor to clients on digital transformation and Salesforce adoption.
Required Qualifications
10+ years of Salesforce experience with strong presales, consulting, or solution architecture background.
Proven experience in client-facing roles supporting enterprise or public sector sales engagements.
Hands-on knowledge of Salesforce Public Sector Solutions (PSS), Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Data Cloud.
Experience leading executive-level presentations and solution workshops.
Strong understanding of government procurement and compliance requirements.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Salesforce Architect or Consultant certifications.
Experience with public sector use cases (case management, licensing & permitting, grants, inspections).
Background supporting practice leadership or account executives in enterprise deals.
