Applications Developer Sr Salesforce Development Lead
Remote Role

Client is seeking a Salesforce Development Lead with end-to-end technical and delivery responsibilities for designing, implementing, deploying, and managing successful Salesforce solutions. Technologies include Salesforce.com products and APIs, Apex/Visualforce, Lightning (LWC, Aura), mobile development, and integration/ETL tools. The role requires leading both presales and implementation efforts, assessing solution options, defining best practices, and ensuring optimal client success and adoption.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate discovery and fit-gap sessions to understand current state, gaps, and industry best practices.

  • Lead and support client engagements, managing technical scope, schedule, and quality.

  • Drive business process redesign, roadmap planning, and sprint demos across multiple systems.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, deliverables, and manage expectations.

  • Translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions leveraging platform capabilities.

  • Lead technical design sessions and document architecture aligned with client objectives.

  • Configure and customize Salesforce environments, including AppExchange package configuration.

  • Develop using Apex, Visualforce, Aura, LWC, and APIs.

  • Coordinate and implement integrations with other systems and applications.

  • Perform code and data migrations; manage deployments using DevOps and CI/CD processes.

  • Handle sandbox refreshes, release planning, and post-refresh activities.

  • Assess business objectives, recommend best-fit solutions, and ensure project success.

  • Provide technical guidance and recommendations throughout the solution lifecycle.

  • Troubleshoot and debug issues; support QA/testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

  • Serve as the liaison between business and technical teams to ensure alignment.

  • Establish trusted advisor status with clients, guiding roadmap planning and value-driven functional areas.

  • Define and promote Salesforce best practices, DevOps, and CI/CD processes.

  • Build domain expertise and disseminate best practices across engagements.

Requirements

  • Proven expertise in Lightning Web Components (LWC).

  • Strong experience in Integration and AppExchange package configuration.

  • Hands-on experience with code and data migration using Salesforce tools and DevOps processes.

  • Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Aura, APIs, and Salesforce configuration/customization.

  • Experience leading Salesforce implementations and client engagements end-to-end.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD, sandbox management, release planning, and QA/UAT support.

  • Ability to perform fit-gap analysis, solution design, and business process optimization.

  • Strong debugging, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to act as a trusted advisor to clients and drive adoption of Salesforce best practices.
