Job Description:
  • The Senior Project Manager will lead the delivery of innovative Companion Diagnostics projects, working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • This role will own project and program structures for product development and care activities, including planning, resource management, budget control, and risk management.
  • The position requires a strong focus on quality implementation, Agile methodologies, and effective collaboration across teams to deliver secure, scalable, and user-focused solutions.
Responsibilities:
  • Drive delivery of Companion Diagnostics projects in collaboration with stakeholders and external partners.
  • Own and manage project/program/product structures, including communication, timelines, resources, and budgets.
  • Develop and maintain integrated project plans with dependencies, resources, and budgets.
  • Ensure quality implementation through risk management, critical path analysis, scenario planning, and budget analysis.
  • Identify risks and propose innovative solutions to address gaps and bottlenecks.
  • Manage milestone reviews, capacity reviews, and other governance processes.
  • Implement best practices and foster continuous improvement by sharing knowledge.
  • Apply appropriate project methodologies, including Agile practices, and coach teams as needed.
  • Lead meetings, knowledge sharing, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Establish and report KPIs, metrics, OKRs, and outcome-based results.
  • Act as a trusted advisor in holistic planning, risk management, and decision-making.
  • Serve as the single point of contact for project and program data.
  • Provide high-level planning data for scenario analysis and portfolio decisions.
  • Act as Agile Program Manager (SAFe) where applicable.
Requirement/Must Have:
  • Bachelor s degree in science, engineering, or business-related field.
  • 4+ years of project management experience in diagnostics, medical device, health science, pharmaceutical, or biotech industries.
  • 1+ year of experience in clinical biomarker, In Vitro Diagnostic development, companion diagnostic development, validations, or regulatory submissions.
  • 1+ year of experience in a regulated industry (FDA 21 CFR part 820, ISO 13485, ISO 9001).
  • Strong experience with project management tools (Planisware, MS Office, G-Suite, Trello, Smartsheet, Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.).
  • Proven problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, influencing, and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of Design Control, Phased Development processes, healthcare quality, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong analytical, strategic, and tactical thinking.
  • Ability to escalate issues and drive management decisions related to execution and resources.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master s degree in science, engineering, or business-related field.
  • Experience with Agile development practices and mindset.
  • PMP Certification.
  • SAFe Certification.
