About the role:
As an eVinci Materials Engineering, you will apply knowledge of materials science for nuclear applications, translating engineering requirements into test plans and development of test plans and preparation of engineering analyses, calculations, and reports.
You will report to the Materials Engineering Manager and be located at our Etna location. This is a paid full-time hybrid internship in the summer.

Key Responsibilities:
- You will provide engineering design and analysis for nuclear power plants, products, including fuel manufacturing, spent-fuel management, service and maintenance, instrumentation and control, and training
- You will work with customers, vendors, and multi-discipline departments on an engineering level to obtain information necessary to perform work assignments.
- Plan and schedule work tasks to meet assignment requirements.
- You will develop and deliver presentations to communicate status, problem resolution or promote related business products.
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering with a focus in materials science or a related discipline
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Complete sophomore year of college
- Experience with material properties and behavior, including mechanical, thermal, and chemical characteristics
- No relocation assistance provided
