Job Title: Systems/ Infrastructure Engineer (Windows/Linux/Azure)
Location: Tallahassee, FL (Onsite 3 days/week Locals Highly Preferred)
Employment Type: Contract (C2C OK)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in Tallahassee, FL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT infrastructure, Windows/Linux server administration, networking, and cloud platforms (Azure preferred). This role requires a hands-on engineer who can support, manage, and enhance enterprise infrastructure systems.

Education:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field OR equivalent work experience

Required Experience:

  • 5 8 years in information systems engineering or related field

  • 3 5 years in IT infrastructure/network environments (operations, support, administration)

  • 2 3 years with Windows Server (2012 R2, 2016, 2019, 2022)

  • 2 3 years IIS Administration

  • 2 3 years with TCP/IP, DNS, file sharing, and permissions

  • 2 3 years of professional experience with Microsoft Azure (highly desired)

  • Experience with AWS or Google Cloud Platform (highly desired)

  • Experience with middleware (API Management, IT Service Automation, batch job services) (desired)

  • Experience with Linux (Red Hat, Ubuntu) administration and patching

  • Strong Microsoft software administration background (desired)

Preferred Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Windows Server, Microsoft 365, and Power Platform

  • Proficiency in Linux (Red Hat, Ubuntu), including patching

  • Strong networking principles and cloud-based network architectures

  • Hands-on experience with DevOps practices, Git repositories, and automation tools
