Lockheed Martin is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Weapon System Performance Analysis Lead to join the CPS team.

As the Weapon System Performance Analysis Lead, you will join the System Analysis team on the Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS) program. In this role, you will:

Lead and contribute to analysis supporting weapon system requirements such as survivability and lethality
Apply missile trajectory design expertise to modeling and simulation
Maintain technical performance measurements for weapon system range and effectiveness
Support cross business area focus groups in operational and campaign level analysis
Engage with industry partners, Army, and Navy performance counterparts
Coordinate with Performance, range safety, and flight test working groups to provide pertinent deliverables
Maintain schedule of performance deliveries driven by ground and flight tests
Interface with Navigation, Guidance and Controls, and Flight Sciences teams
Support Technical Insertion analysis as needed
Develop good working relationships between CPS and sister program Element organizations
Work independently and thrives in a dynamic, interdisciplinary environment
Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including a proven ability to interact effectively and build strong relationships with customers, management, and peers.

Selected candidates will typically have a Bachelors degree, or higher, in Engineering or other technical discipline with 9+ years of related professional work experience

Basic Qualifications

Experience developing and evaluating flight trajectories based on system requirements
Experience with project management
Experience using Matlab
Experience using systems models or simulations to perform functions, such as:
a.) System Trade studies
b.) Requirements decomposition
c.) Performance Predictions
Active or Current DoD Secret clearance; ship required

Desired skills

Familiarity with Navigation, Guidance, and Control(NG&C) principles
Familiarity with performance metrics for missile systems related to survivability and lethality
Experience with campaign level or operational analysis
Experience with SMD products, missions, and customers
Flight test or flight test range support experience
Demonstrated ability to develop collaborative working environment across disparate organizations
Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills, including a proven ability to interact effectively and build strong relationships with customers, management, and peers
Comfortable working in a fast paced and dynamic multi-disciplinary environment
Strong team collaboration, communication and presentation skills
Active or Current Top Secret security clearance

Ability to work remotely

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement
